AUTRYVILLE
Mr. Jonathan James "Jakie" Faircloth, 61 of 222 Mill Street, Autryville, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at his home.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday at Autryville Baptist Church, 425 E. Williams Street, Autryville, with Reverend Richard Spell, Reverend Larry Autry, and Reverend Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Autryville Cemetery.
He was born December 25, 1954 in Albany, Georgia, to the late Solomon James and Vernice Faircloth. He was a Commissioner with the Town of Autryville, founder of the Autryville Fire Department where he served as Chief for 25 years, member of Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 585, member of Autryville Baptist Church, and the owner and operator of Autryville Hardware Lawn and Garden.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hall Faircloth; daughter, Nichole Maroschak and husband Curtis of Autryville; son, Jonathan Faircloth and wife Ashley of Autryville; grandchildren, Kel Maroschak, Tobin Maroschak, Ryder Faircloth, and Harper Faircloth; sister, Jeanette Lucas and husband John of Erwin; and nephews, James Herring and wife Caroline, and Michael Herring.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:45 pm Wednesday prior to the service, and other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to the Autryville Fire Department or to the Town of Autryville Beautification Fund.
Arrangements are by Butler Funeral Home of Stedman.
