Mr. John Thomas West, 68, of Clinton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Andy Wood officiating. The burial will follow at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro prior to the service.

Mr. West was born in Virginia, the son of Princeton West and Mildred Brock West. He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Karen Trogdon.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred West; two brothers, David West, and Clayton West and wife Rolanda; several nieces and nephews; and his cat Shadow.
