Mrs. John Richard Sessoms,, 51 Sr.

GARLAND Mr. John Richard Sessoms, Sr., 51, of 7317 NC Highway 210 West, passed away Wednesday at Cape Fear Valley Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Ruffin Cemetery with Dr. Robert Phipps officiating. Mr. Sessoms was a native of Cumberland County, the son of the late Wilbur and Dorothy Byrnes Sessoms. He was a US Army Veteran. Mr. Sessoms is survived by: wife, Angela Sessoms, of the home; four daughters, Rachel Sessoms, of Salemburg, Kimberly Davis, of Germany, Joni Needham, of Garland and Heather Sessoms, of Fayetteville; son, John Sessoms, Jr., of Parkton; two sisters, Jane Smith, of Roseboro and Brenda Freeman, of Parkton; three grandchildren, Selena, Chris and Justin. The family will receieve friends on Tuesday night from 7-9 pm at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
