Mr. John D. Pearsall, 80

ROSEBORO Mr. John D. Pearsall, 80 of 11623 Ludhorne Road, died Sunday Nov. 26, 2006 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday Nov. 29, 2006 at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Jason Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilbert Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Pearsall was a native of Wayne County, and the son of the late Laroy and Betsy Price Pearsall. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Marie Pearsall. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army. Mr. Pearsall is survived by: one daughter, Susan P. Melvin of Roseboro; four sons, William Pearsall of Milton, VT, Ronald Pearsall, Paul G. Pearsall, and Thomas Pearsall all of Roseboro; one brother, James V. Pearsall of Seven Springs; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 step grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
