Mrs. John Nell Pepper, 80 of Clinton went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at a later time in Panama City, Florida.

Mrs. Pepper was a native of Panama City, FL, the daughter of John Henry and Cora Christine Lynn Hawkins.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Ronald Pepper; sister, Ruth H. Harris; two brothers, Homer Hawkins and Ronald Hawkins.

She is survived by a niece, Carmen Jenkins of Roseboro; two nephews, Pete Harris, Jr. of Roseboro and Ronald Hawkins, Jr. of Nashville, TN.
