AUTRYVILLE Mr. John Thomas Hairr, 69 of 7831 Autryville Road, died on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Johnson Family Cemetery with Rev. Jim Brinkley officiating. Mr. Hairr was a native of Sampson County and the son of the late George Washington and Francis Hall Hairr. He worked as an Electrician with Three Way Electric. He is survived by: his wife, Mable Hairr of the home; one daughter, Penny Hairr; one son, Tommy Hairr of Tifton, GA; one step-daughter, Debbie Autry of Autryville; one step-son, Terry Autry of Autryville; six sisters, Geraldine Jackson of Roseboro, Pearl Hall of Autryville, Mae Autry of Autryville, Ruth Squires of Salemburg, Margaret Hall of Fayetteville and Betty Deibold of Michigan; one brother, G.W. Hairr of Autryville; three grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
