John Thomas Beasley, 78 passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Chris Humphries.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 3:50 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

John was born on July 16, 1945 in Cumberland County to the late, Johnny Beasley and Kathleen Averitte Beasley.

John and his wife, Judy owned B Thrifty Mart Stores in Fayetteville and Stedman for many years; as well as an Auctioning Company.  John enjoyed doing many different things, he loved auctioning, antiques shopping, history, and doing weekend sales at the state fair ground in Raleigh.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 38 years, Judy Jolly Beasley of the home; son, Jeffery Glenn Beasley; daughter, Jennifer Beasley; step-son, Johnny Cain & wife, Nicole; and step-daughter, Tammy Cain Barry & husband, George all of Fayetteville; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
