FAYETTEVILLE Mr. John Thomas Ball, Jr., 64, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17 at Fisher Cemetery in Stedman with Rev. Jeff Stultz officiating. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of John Thomas Ball, Sr. (deceased) and Dorothy Blakesley Ball. He served in the US Air force and retired after 26 years of service. He was employed with Purolator in Fayetteville where he was a Manufacturing Supervisor Assistant. Mr. Ball is survived by: wife, Deborah Ross Ball of the home; daughter, Margo Fries (husband Thomas) of Long Beach, MS; two sons, David Ball (wife Terri) of Apex and Daniel Ball (wife Jennifer) of Kankakee, IL; mother, Dorothy B. Ball of Coats; five grandchildren, Angela Fries, Helen Fries, Madison Ball, Stephanie Heckman and Matthew Heckman; six great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Richard Ball (wife Karen) of Massachusetts. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Rd., Stedman, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17 at Fisher Cemetery in Stedman with Rev. Jeff Stultz officiating.
