Mr. John Rupert Andrews, 76

STEDMAN Mr. John Rupert Andrews, 76 of Stedman passed away on Thursday, June 5 at the Southeastern Hospice House. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 7 at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Kelly Bullard and Dr. Phil Spears officiating. Entombment will follow at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens. He was a native of Cumberland County, the son of the late Marvin and Margaret Lynch-Wood Andrews. He was a retired employee of Goodyear Tire Company. Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife, Jean Carter Andrews of the home; one daughter, Cindy Andrews of Hope Mills; two sons, Randy Andrews of Stedman and Terry Andrews of Linden; one sister, Patsy Beal of Selma; one brother, Wayne Andrews of Stedman; 8 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. At others times the family will be at the home of his son, Randy Andrews, 936 Magnolia Church Road, Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
