Mr. Joe Kelly Syfrett,, 76 Sr.

GARLAND Mr. Joe Kelly Syfrett, Sr., 76 of Garland passed away Saturday at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 14 at the Syfrett Family Cemetery on Highway 210 W. with Rev. David Bays officiating. Mr. Syfrett was born on August 20, 1938 to the late Lee Roy and Beatrice Kelly Syfrett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Ashworth Syfrett. He was a Army veteran. He was a retired HVAC Mechanic at Ft. Bragg and was the owner and operator of Rusnik's Catfish Farm. He is survived by one daughter, Robin Dickey; one son, Joe Syfrett, Jr.; one sister, Eleanor Robeson; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC.
