Joe Legotino, 80 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

He was born in Paterson, NJ and grew up in Lodi, NJ.  He spent 4 years in the Army, serving at Ft. Meade, MD and in Germany.  Upon his discharge he worked in the computer field for several years in NYC.

Joe became a Prudential Insurance agent.  He retired from Prudential after 22 years, and moved to NC in 1997.  He worked various jobs in Dunn, NC and in Spring Lake, NC.  His most beloved job was at the Beacon Rescue Mission in Dunn.  He enjoyed the people and his work there so much over the years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Antionette Legotino.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 52 years, Lillian; two sisters, Bea Panetta & husband, Rick of Barnegat, NJ, and Judy Duca & husband, Pete of Wall, NJ; nieces, Jacqueline, Michelle and Noelle; and nephews, Peter, Rick, Jr. and Tommy.

A special acknowledgement of love and kindness shown to us throughout the years from Vanessa, Bethany, Audra and Billy.

At this time there are no plans for a service.
