FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Joe Floyd Fisher, Jr., 61 of Fayetteville, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 28 at Faith Family Worship Center in Fayetteville with Pastors Richard and Ann Pia officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. Mr. Fisher was a native of Cumberland County, the son of the late Joe Floyd Fisher, Sr. and Melba Cashwell Fisher. He was a pressman in the newspaper industry. He is survived by his wife, Debra Fisher of the home; two sons, Ronald S. Wilkerson of Bennettsville, SC and Alton F. Wilkerson of Jacksonville; one sister, Sheila Smith of Fayetteville; two brothers, Alan Fisher of Asheville and Timothy Fisher; niece, Michelle Galligher of Fayetteville; also several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 27 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 28 at Faith Family Worship Center in Fayetteville with Pastors Richard and Ann Pia officiating.
