Mrs. Joan Hildebrandt Cashwell, 75

Mrs. Joan Hildebrandt Cashwell, 75, of 3122 Nato Road, Fayetteville, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Monday, Aug. 21, 2006 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was surrounded by her family at her bedside. Joan was born on Sept. 2, 1930 in Long Island, NY. She was the daughter of the late Herman Hildebrant and Clara Schulz. Joan was a member of Massey Hill Baptist Church and an active member of her women's Sunday School Class. She was freatly loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday at Massey Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Evans and Rev. Frank Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman on Wednesday night. She is survived by: her husband, Franklin "Buster" Cashwell, of the home; two daughters, Janine Seals and her husband Henry, of Fayetteville and Patricia Long and her husband, Patrick, of Columbia, SC; two sons, Franklin Cashwell, Jr. and his wife, Yuni and Timothy Cashwell and wife, Brenda, all of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren, Jerry, Travis, Nina, Alex, Jennifer, Rebecca and Robin.
