STEDMAN

Mrs. Jo Ann Honeycutt, 69 of 370 Fred Hall Road, Stedman, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Autumn Wind Assisted Living in Roseboro.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 9 at Stedman Baptist Church, 7750 Clinton Road, Stedman, with Dr. Phil Spears officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Roseboro.

Mrs. Honeycutt was born January 25, 1946 in New Hanover County and is preceded in death by her parents, Fred C. and Ruby Beard Hall; and husband, Douglas Honeycutt. She worked in the textile industry.

She is survived by one son, Douglas Allen Honeycutt of Stedman; one daughter, Jennifer "GiGi" Honeycutt-McMillan and husband Billy of Stedman; one grandson, Douglas Honeycutt McMillan; one sister, Faye Robertson and husband Tom of Stedman; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, January 8 at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, and other times at the home.
