Jimmy Allen Thompson, 49 passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, July 5, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Wood officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ann Starling Owens; niece, Tracy Brewington; and brother-in-laws, Ronnie Brewington and Dewey Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory his longtime partner, Karen Dieffenbach of the home; sons, Jerry and Wyatt Thompson both of the home; sisters, Pamela Jones of Fayetteville and Lisa Brewington of Roseboro; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Butler Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
