Mr. Jimmy Kayloup Pilkington, 80 of Autryville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Durham VA Medical Center.

No services will be held.

Mr. Pilkington was born in Johnston County to the late Hubert and Etta Mae Godwin Pilkington. He lived in Sampson County for many years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Rex Pilkington and wife, Candy; two grandchildren, Bethany Hall and husband, Garitt; and Dillon Pilkington and friend, Hannah Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Lilee Esther Hall and Adalys Scott Hall; his sister, Patricia Faye Ervin; and several nieces and nephews.
