Mr. Jimmy Taylor Lucas, 86 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; Jack Lucas and Mavis Taylor Lucas; wife, Faye Melvin Lucas; sister, Connie Thermond; and half-brother, Michael Lucas.

Jimmy was a longtime member of Bluff Presbyterian Church, and he was in the United States Army National Guard.  He also retired with 35 ½ years of service with Coca Cola Bottling Company.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Stephen O. Lucas & wife, Michelle Lucas of Eastover; daughter, Tammy Stoeckley & husband, Gene of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Aaron Casha and Megan Beach; great grandchildren, Asher and Mason Beach; half-brother, Kenny Lucas & wife, Sharon of Crumpler, NC; and his step-sister, Cathy Ammons of Dunn.
