Mr. Jimmy V. Brown, 70

AUTYRVILLE Mr. Jimmy V. Brown, 70, of Autryville, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at his home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. David Williams officiating. Mr. Brown was the son of the late James Vance and Bessie Gales Brown and was a mechanic with Purolator in Fayetteville before retiring. Mr. Brown is survived by: wife, Marie G. Brown, of the home; two daughters, Donna B. Guy and husband Donnie and Karen B. Tyndall and husband Joe, both of Autryville; adopted daughter, Karla McDonald, of East Bend, NC; son, James A. Brown, of Autryville; six sisters, Elizabeth Driggers, of Fayetteville, Margaret Hardin and Shirley Barnhill, both of Hope Mills, Mary Ann Mason, of Fayetteville, Margie Brown and Sylvia Smith, both of Hope Mills; brother, Larry Brown, of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren, Stevie Brown, Tony Cummings, Derek Brown, Crystal Buie and husband Chris, Jamie Lynn Brown, Bradley Tyndall and Kristina Wilson; six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 till 7 PM at Butler Funeral Home.
