ROSEBORO Mr. Jimmie Martin "Rabbit" Peterson, 55 of 88 Buck Lane, died on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown. The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. David Williams, Rev. Barry Helms and Mr. Jeffery Sessoms officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterson Cemetery in Roseboro. Mr. Peterson was born on September 4, 1956 in Sampson County to Ivey Hoover and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Peterson. He is preceded in death by his father. He worked as a delivery person with Capital Office Supply. He is survived by: his mother, Mary Elizabeth Peterson of Roseboro; his brother, Ricky Peterson of Roseboro; and his life-long friend, Melissa Bordeaux of Bladenboro. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
