AUTRYVILLE
Mr. Jessie J. Sessoms, 71 of 563 Yellowskin Road, died on Friday November 29, 2013 at Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Kenneth Carlton and Rev. Jesse Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at the Faircloth Family cemetery.
Mr. Sessoms was born on August 3, 1942 to the late Preston and Lillian Riner Sessoms. He was a carpenter by trade and loved fishing and mainly loved God. He was a dedicated, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend to many.
He is survived by: his wife, Gladys Sessoms of the home; daughter, Georgianna Locklear of the home; two grandsons, Rocky Dean Locklear, Jr. of Autryville and Justin Michael Locklear of Maxton; two sisters, Edna Ammons and Bell Autry; four brothers, Lee Sessoms, Perry Wayne Sessoms, Ervin Sessoms and Henry Sessoms.
The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 2:00 to 2:45 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
