ROSEBORO Mr. Jesse Bishop "J.B." Carlisle, 78 of 2425 Autry Highway, Roseboro, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at his home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, with Rev. Gary Avery and Rev. Leroy Wright officiating. Burial will follow at the Roseboro Cemetery. Mr. Carlisle was born on October 19, 1936 in Sampson County to the late Early Youth and Ruby Lee Beasley Carlisle. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth Earl Carlisle; and sister, Etta Mae Faircloth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked with Roseboro Spinning Mill then Dubose National Energy of Clinton. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lucas Carlisle of the home; daughter, Valerie Carlisle of the home; sisters, Pat Edge and Margaret Womer both of Roseboro; and special friend, Archie Suggs of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home. Arrangements entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
