Mr. Jesse Ellis Heffington, 75 of Parkton passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Highland House of Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, February 29 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.

Mr. Heffington was a native of Mark Tree, Arkansas and the son of the late Ellis Elijah and Geneva Christian Grigsby Heffington. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Heffington. He was a painting contractor and a U. S. Army veteran.

He is survived by five children, Devan Morrigan of Colorado, Kathy Gurnett and Susan Meyers both of Fayetteville, Della Thompson and Anna Green both of California; sister, Nancy Kemp of Pleasant Hill, California; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
