STEDMAN Mr. Jesse Willard Hall, 97 of 1245 Stedman Cedar Creek Road, Stedman, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael N. Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Fisher Cemetery in Stedman. Mr. Hall was born on April 6, 1915 in Cumberland County to the late William Jasper Hall and Sabra Annie Johnson Hall. He was the former owner and operator of Hall Farm Center. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He is survived by: his wife, Ellen Hall of the home, son, Jesse W. Hall, Jr., of Stedman, daughter, Nina H. Ellison and husband William of Palm Coast, Fl., two grandsons, Steven G. Hall and wife Dana Crawford of Nashville, Tenn., and Jeffery R. Hall of Decatur, GA and one sister, Sabra H. West of Clemmons, NC and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
