Mr. Jerry Lee Smith, 64 of Garland passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, November 25, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Richard Smith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doane Ennis and Lillie Mae Smith; two brothers, Jimmy Rodgers Smith, and Johnny Ennis Smith. He retired from E. I. Dupont after 28 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his children, J. L. Smith and wife Marie of Elizabethtown; Laura Michele Tatum and husband Matthew of Elizabethtown; their mother, Juanita D. Adams Smith of Elizabethtown; sister, Janet Cornelia Smith, and brother, Jackie Dean Smith; four grandchildren, Alleigh N. Buchanan, Jay J. Smith, Adam E. Smith, and Weston B. Tatum; two nieces and three nephews.
