ROSEBORO
Mr. Jerry Richard Parrish, 61 of 240 Microwave Tower Road, Roseboro, died on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his home.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Roseboro Church of God with Rev. Ken Byrd, Rev. Eddie Smith and Rev. Daniel Gore officiating. Burial will follow at the Roseboro Cemetery.
Mr. Parrish was born on January 30, 1952 in Harnett County. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Parrish; and his brother, James Melvin "Jim" Parrish. He worked as a Carpenter at White Lake Motel and Campground.
He is survived by: his wife and best friend on 39 years, Sheila Smith Parrish of the home; two loving daughters, Brandi P. Jackson of Roseboro and Ashley P. Faircloth and husband Jonathan of Autryville; two grandchildren, Annagrace Jackson and Ryder Faircloth; his mother, Mary Overbee Parrish of Benson; three sisters, Janice P. Lambert and husband William of Benson, Jenneal P. Ingram and husband Wilson of Newton Grove and Jenny P. Lucas and husband Scott of Erwin; sister-in-law, Brenda N. Parrish of Benson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
