Mr. Jerry L. Jackson, 64

AUTRYVILLE Mr. Jerry Lee Jackson, 64 of 691 Welcome School Road, died on Thursday June 21, 2007 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 23, 2007 at Union Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Jackson was born in 1942 in Summers County, West Virginia, to the late Wesley Leo and Christine Tyler Jackson. He worked as a Telephone Repairman. Mr. Jackson is survived by: his wife, Lula Mae Jackson of the home; one daughter, Donna Jackson of Autryville; two granddaughters, Evan Jackson and Erica Jackson; two half-brothers, Robert Thompson of Ohio, and Richard D. Thompson of West Virginia. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, and other times at the home. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro St., Roseboro.
