Jerry Franklin Davis, Jr., 46 went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.  He passed away peacefully at home after a long and strong fight with cancer.

Jerry was born in Cumberland County on March 28, 1975.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Betty Jane Davis; father, Jerry Franklin Davis, Sr.; two daughters, Amy Marie Davis Naylor & husband, Trampus Naylor, and Emily Nicole Davis; step daughter, Ashley Shea Lee & husband, Josh; six grandchildren, Holden Bradshaw, Ashton West, Brentley West, Harlee Lee, Braiden Lee, Raelynn Naylor; sweet and special friend, Pam Haden; his former wife, friend and mother of his daughters, Lisa Davis.

He was loved very much by so many.  He was employed at Kennedy Brothers in Pink Hill, and was a very devoted truck driver who loved his job.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. George “G.C.” Hughes.  Burial will follow at New Life Church of God, Autryville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Saturday at the church before the service.
