Mrs. Jerlene H. Naylor, 73

SALEMBURG Mrs. Jerlene "Bay" Hudson Naylor, 73 of 204 Pine Street, died on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center in Clinton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Salemburg Baptist Church with Rev. Roger White officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mrs. Naylor was born in 1935 in Sampson County to the late Jonah and Hosie Crumpler Hudson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Naylor. She was a retired Bank Teller with First Union Bank. Mrs. Naylor is survived by: two daughters, Kelly Winders and husband Donald, of Clinton, and Joan Naylor and companion Donnie Stewart, of Salemburg; one son, Derek Naylor and wife Karla, of Clinton; one sister, Evelyn Hill of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Crafton Hudson and wife Ruby, of Zebulon; and one granddaughter, Alexis Kirby. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home of Charlie and Danny Ducker, 8532 Minnie-Hall Road, Roseboro.
