Mrs. Jeline Simmons Royal, 64

ROSEBORO Mrs. Jeline Simmons Royal, 64 of 3260 Huntley School Road, died peacefully on February 25, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. The funeral will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Royal was born on November 27, 1946 in Sampson County to the late Miles Coston and Jathronia Holland Simmons. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Jimmy Simmons. She was a faithful member of Freedom Baptist Church and worked as a Cafeteria Manager with Lakewood High School. She is survived by: her husband, Jackie Royal of the home; two sons, Greg Royal and wife Shelby of Roseboro, and Jason Royal and wife April of Dunn; two grandchildren, Nathan Royal and Allison Royal; and two brothers, Oscar Simmons of Roseboro and Ray Simmons of Clinton. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, P.O. Box 338, Salemburg, NC 28385. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
