FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Jeffery Curtis Starling, 40, of 4724 Macedonia Church Road, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010. He was a native of Cumberland County and worked as a carpenter in the building construction industry. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, December 4 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Michael Couillard officiating. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery. He is survived by: daughter, Amanda Chavis (husband Fairley Jr.) of Cedar Creek; two sons, Jeffrey C. Starling of Hope Mills and Cody Davis of Goldsboro; mother, Mary Alice Lewis of Fayetteville; sister, Angela Lewis of Shannon; brother, Jason Lewis of St. Pauls; two grandchildren, Aiden Chavis and Alijah Chavis; niece, Donielle Chavis; and nephew, Josh Chavis.
