Mrs. Jeanette Cooke Sessoms, 86 of Stedman went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 15 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Gore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lafayette Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 – 9:50 AM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Sessoms was a native of Brooks County, GA.  She was the daughter of James Hartwell and Mary Elizabeth Wright Blease.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Roland Sessoms; children, Sam Cooke, Theresa McLean and Kay King; step-children, Karen Harrell, Jamie Sessoms and Denna Dreyer; brother, James Wright Blease; sisters, Georgia Mac Madsen and Vivian Smith; twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
