Jean Alice (Patterson) Johnson, 80 went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2024 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Andrew Wood.

Jean was born in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Monroe and Lillian Patterson.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Johnson; son, Thomas Hippert; and her sisters, Ona Persinger, Dorothy Patterson, and Patsy Flecksteine.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Patsy Morrison & husband, Lamont; son, Mark Hippert; brother, Monroe Patterson & wife, Leona; grandchildren, Chris, Cindy and Michael Morrison, Kara Locklear; and Sonnie, Gage, Cole and Summer Hippert; great grandchildren, Christopher R. Morrison and Michael A. Morrison; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
