Mrs. Jean New McLamb, 71, of 3532 Dunn Road, formerly of Roseboro, died Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Lewis and Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Horne Cemetery.
Mrs. McLamb was born on November 18, 1941, in Sampson County to the late Jesse and Sally Guy New. She was a Homemaker.
She is survived by: her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, J.K. McLamb; her daughter, Robin Torres and husband, Phillip of Fayetteville; two sons, Joey McLamb of Fayetteville and Michael McLamb and wife, Jenny of White Oak; her faithful and loving sister, Margaret Smith of Jacksonville; brother, Henry New of Stedman; very special niece and caregiver, Janice Tart of Autryville; and grandchildren, Jesse McLamb and Bonnie Grace McLamb both of White Oak.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
