Mrs. Jean Joyce Howell, 64

FAYETTEVILLE

Mrs. Jean Marie Joyce Howell, 64, of Fayetteville passed away at her home Tuesday, February 23, 2016. She was a medical billing technician. Mrs. Howell was born in Charlotte NC, the daughter of the late Bernard Roth Joyce and Ethel Idell Swaney Joyce. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, E.C. Howell and a sister, Patricia Joyce Pigford.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 26 at Cape Fear Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce Swett and Pastor Dwayne Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jacobs (husband Thed) of Fayetteville; step-daughter, Kymberlee Howell Sanders (husband Butch) of Charlotte; sister, Sudie Ann Joyce York of Stanley; grandson, Christopher Branson; step-grandchildren, Kaylee Sanders and Destynee Sanders; numerous nieces and nephews.
