Mrs. Jean M. Bullard, 78

ROSEBORO Mrs. Jean Madgar Bullard, 78 of 3626 N.C. Highway 242, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services will be held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Larry West and Mr. Thurman Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bullard was born in 1930 in Carbondal, Pennsylvania, to the late John Franklin and Beatrice Packer. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Bullard is survived by: three sons, Robert Madgar of Inman, S.C., Henry Bullard of Roseboro, and John Bullard of Ivanhoe; one daughter, Judy Michael of Raeford; one brother, Joseph Packer of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
