Jasper “Jackie” Wade Lewis, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, August 05, 2026.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Jerry Hood. Burial will follow at Wiley Autry Cemetery in Autryville.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Wade Lewis and Mary Pearl (Byrd) Lewis; brothers, Donald Glenn Lewis and Harry Keith Lewis.

Jackie retired from Good Year Tire Company. He enjoyed farming and all Cape Fear sporting events.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Debby Lewis; sons, Shawn Lewis & wife, Kristyna and Shane Lewis & wife, Crystal; grandchildren, Cailyn Lewis, Caiden Lewis, Kaitlyn King and Emma Brinson; and sisters, Wanda Walters, Mary Grice, and Beth Tauzell.
