AUTRYVILLE
Mr. Jarvis Ezzell, 56 of 575 Horseshoe Road, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at the Ezzell Family Cemetery.
Mr. Ezzell was born in 1952 in Sampson County to the late James Wilbur and Edna Stone Ezzell. He worked as a Truck Driver with Epps Transportation.
Mr. Ezzell is survived by: two daughters, Tabitha Crafton of Mechanicsville, VA, and Michelle Strickland of Roseboro; one son, Jarvis Ezzll, Jr. of Autryville; one step-son, David Pait of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Judy Autry of Autryville; five brothers, J.W. Ezzell of Autryville, Steve Ezzell of Georgia, Glenn Ezzell, Donnie Ezzell, and Buddy Ezzell, all of Autryville; and six grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Shelby, Jason, Jacy, and Alyssa.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Butler Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
