Mrs. Janice Lee Kent Mintz, 85 of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at her home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Sharon Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Hall officiating.

Mrs. Mintz was born in Washington, DC to Derwood Downing and Margaret Onita Conklin Kent.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond J. Mintz and a son, Raymond Gary Mintz.  She was an artist and a nurse.

She is survived by a son, James Mintz and wife, Rose of Fayetteville; a daughter, Deborah Mintz Lynch of Fayetteville; brother, Donald Kent and wife, Jo of Texas; two sister-in-laws, Gerry Gray of Stedman and Alma Mintz of Clinton; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
