Mrs. Janice Madeline (Cashwell) Ashcraft, 71 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Bruce Suggs officiating. The burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:50 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mrs. Ashcraft was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of Roger Bond and Vivian Genevie Murwin Cashwell. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Guy Ashcraft; her daughter, Carrie Parson; two brothers, Paul Cashwell and Charlie Cashwell; and three sisters, Eva Rose Bass, Ruth Hart and Frita Mae Cashwell.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Martin Sweatt (Kim) of Hope Mills; Aaron Bullock (Vicki) of St. Pauls; Tony Bullock (Theresa) of Garland; and Paula Hubbard (Tim) of Atkinson; eleven grandchildren, Jessica Parson (Jerome), Caitlin Bullock, Mandi Brown (John), Cord Hubbard (Jamie), Tyler Sweatt (Erikka), Tiffany Mercer (Bryan), Amber Bullock, Jeanie Hubbard (Jerin), Tony Lee Bullock, Jr., Bentlee Bullock, and Jamaison Brown; and six great-grandchildren.
