Mr. James Everett Willis, 71 of Wallace went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Grandview Memorial Park in Clinton with Rev. Andy Wood officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.

Mr. Willis was a native of Sampson County, the son of James Pascal Willis and Saphronia Mazona Daniels Willis.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judy M. Willis; and his girlfriend, Diana Brown.  He was a truck driver for over 30 years.

He is survived by three sisters, Carrie Willis Barefoot and husband, Floyd of Raleigh, Eveleen Register and husband, David of Wallace, and Catherine Willis of Fayetteville; a step- daughter and a step-son, four step grandchildren; also four nephews and one niece and several great nephews and nieces.
