Mr. James Arnold Williams, 79 of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at his home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Peters Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Bays and Rev. Greg Smith officiating.  Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:50 PM on Tuesday at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Williams was a native of Sampson County, the son of Lane and Minnie McLemore Williams.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Carol Williams.  He was a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Petersen (Paul) of Roseboro, Sandra Jackson (Phillip) of Dunn and Priscilla Hollingsworth (Mark) of Greenville; one granddaughter, Ciara Phillips of Salemburg, two grandsons, Colby Jackson and Luke Jackson both of Dunn; two great granddaughters, Annabeth Phillips and Courtney Phillips and a special dog, Coco.
