STEDMAN
Mr. James Douglas West, 59 of 6601 Lina Drive, Stedman, died on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Jeff Burkhardt, Pastor Don Baldwin and Pastor Craig Autry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. West was born on November 1, 1952 in Cumberland County to the late Fernie B. and Ruth Strickland West. He worked as a Truck Driver with DK Taylor Oil Company.
He is survived by: his wife, Tina West of the home; three children, Holly West of Cedar Creek, Daniel Hartley of Stedman and Alicia Carter of Fayetteville; three step-children, Jamie Childress of Cedar Creek, Samantha Locklear of Petersburg, VA, and Jessica Molands of Stedman; one brother, Shane West of Raleigh; two sisters, Willa Knight and Mary Bullard both of Stedman; and six grandchildren, Ariel, Noah, Jenna, Payton, Kaleigh and Khloe.
The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:45 P.M. at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy, 7350 Maxwell Road, Stedman.
