Mr. James Edwards Watkins, Jr., 50 of Stedman, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, November 9 at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, with Reverend Neill Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm.

He was born on April 17, 1965 in Cumberland County to James Edward Watkins, Sr. and Wanda Melvin Watkins. He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by one son, James Wayne Watkins of Wade; and his mother, Wanda M. Watkins of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm Monday afternoon at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
