AUTRYVILLE Mr. James Earl Tanner, 89 of 1646 South River Road, Autryville, died on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Autumn Care of Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Johnson Cemetery in Autryville with Rev. Tom Hayes officiating. Mr. Tanner was born on July 21, 1924 in Sampson County to the late James Martin and Anner Faircloth Tanner. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by: his wife, Mavis Tanner; two sons, Martin Tanner and Thomas Tanner both of Autryville; one daughter, Anner Tanner of Autryville; one sister, Mary Tanner of Autryville; and one grandson.
