Mr. James William Swann,, 73 Sr.

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. James William Swann, Sr., 73, of 4639 Hummingbird Place died Thursday, February, 15 at his residence. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Temple Baptist Church. Burial will follow at LaFayettev Memorial Park. Mr. Swann was a native of Harnett County and the son of the late Roy L. and Flonnie Mae Solis Swann. She was a retired flooring contractor. He is survived by: his wife, Ann Swann of the home; one son, James Swann, Jr. of Fayetteville; three daughters, Janice Lindsay of Clinton, Betty Britt of Fayetteville, and Bonnie Horne of Stedman; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Temple Baptist Church Building Fund, 3159 Sanderosa Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28312.
