Mr. James Lewis O'Hern, 67

Mr. James Lewis O'Hern, 67, of 4064 Upton Tyson Road, Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with the Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. O'Hern was born in Columbus, Georgia and was the son of the late Lewis Lee and Elizabeth Carpenter O'Hern. He was a painter at the VA Hospital before retiring. Mr. O'Hern was a Vietnam Veteran and retired as a technical sergeant with the US Air Force. Mr. O'Hern is survived by: Vickie O'Hern, of the home; five sons, James O'Hern and Mike O'Hern, both of Fayetteville, Bobby O'Hern, of Autryville, Thomas O'Hern, of Hope Mills and William O'Hern, of Sarasota, FL.; brother, Robert O'Hern, of Hamilton, GA; ten grandchildren. The family will recieve friends Tuesday night, Sept. 26, 2006 from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
