Mr. James "Mac" Mcphail Cooper, 60

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. James "Mac" McPhail Cooper, 60 of Fayetteville, died on Friday, June 20, 2014 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wade with Rev. Ronald Loftis officiating. Mr. Cooper was born on July 13, 1953 in Cumberland County and was a dedicated employee of the U.S. Postal Service for 36 years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Earl C. and Pattie Holmes Cooper. He is survived by: his brother, Robert E. Cooper and wife, Shirley; two nieces, Robbie Cooper Dywan and Sue Cooper; two nephews, Jim Cooper and Laurin Cooper. He was "Grunkle Mac" to four great nephews, Christopher Adams, Cooper Strickland, Brendan Cooper and Cameron Cooper; one great niece, Katie Strickland;and one great-great niece, Rory Adams. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
