FAYETTEVILLE Mr. James Wesley Locklear, 57 of 1718 Long Street, died on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at East Side Church of God with Rev. Rodney Strickland and Rev. Craig Jones officiating. Mr. Locklear was born on May 8, 1954 in Cumberland County to the late Dwight L. Jones and Ethel M. Locklear. He worked in Construction as a Steel Worker. He is survived by: three sons, James Jones, Derrik Stewart and Ryan Stewart all of Fayetteville; and two daughters, Jessica Bradshaw and Crissy Locklear all of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
