Mr. James Honeycutt, 72

SALEMBURG James Honeycutt, 72, retired farmer of 8959 Dunn Rd. died Friday, August 17, at Sampson Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 4:00 P.M, Monday August 20th, at Union Grove Baptist Church, the Rev. Paul E. Honeycutt and Rev. Allen West will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Mr. Honeycutt is the son of the late George Tilmen "Tim" and Meta Honeycutt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Claudia Honeycutt, George Honeycutt and John Honeycutt; and Sister Isolene Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Daphine Honeycutt of the home; one son James Steven Honeycutt of Salemburg: daughters, Joey Honeycutt of Salemburg, Gwen Craft and husband Ellery Craft of Wallace, Holly Naylor and husband Dwight Naylor of Roseboro; Six Granddaughters, Amanda Stewart, Tonya Craft, Brooke Craft, Dawn Craft, Tiffany Naylor and Megan Naylor; brother Gethro Honeycutt; and sister Agnes Williams.
