ROSEBORO Rev. James Manley Faircloth, 92 of 18 Barber Cooper Lane, Roseboro died on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton. The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Donald Ray Massey, Rev. Audrey Paul Williams and Rev. J. C. Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Faircloth was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Haywood and Minnie Pearl Peterson Faircloth. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Lee Faircloth and a grandson, Dwayne Armstrong. He was a minister with the Church of God of Prophecy. He was also a Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by three daughters, Ann Long of Clinton, Susan Armstrong of New Bern and Wendy Butler of Autryville; two sons, Woody Faircloth and Manley Faircloth both of Roseboro; two sisters, Ellen Cashwell of Stedman and Sherry Lowe of Texas; one brother, Rob Faircloth of Salemburg; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC.The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Donald Ray Massey, Rev. Audrey Paul Williams and Rev. J. C. Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
